Speaker A.
Today we live in a world where everything is produced in an assembly line way. When we need to choose a gift for a loved one, we go to the store and look at the shelves. Of course, it would be ideal to give a thing made with our own hands, but often we don't have time for that. This is very sad because the gifts that can be bought in the store are similar to each other. Even if you buy an expensive thing, it does not mean that it will be original. It is hard to find something individualized that can make a person's mouth open in surprise. To show attention to a friend or family member, it is always better to give something out of the ordinary, but it is hard to find such a gift.
Speaker B.
When we give a gift to a friend, we want to please him or her. Sometimes we give things made with our own hands, sometimes we buy gifts in the store. In search of something unusual, we often spare no expense. We are especially happy when we manage to find a useful thing. However, there are times when we buy something that our friends are not comfortable accepting. I believe that a gift should not cost a fortune, because then our friends may feel indebted to us. The gift should be modest. It can show our attention, but most importantly, it should not be embarrassing.
Speaker C.
To please our friends, we sometimes buy expensive gifts. In such cases, we forget that they may embarrass them. It would be better to give a thing made with our own hands, but we think that an expensive gift will better show our care and attention. But I think that for these purposes even a very modest gift will do. In the modern world we can buy any goods ourselves, but the attention of a friend is something that can not be bought. So a simple card, a box of chocolates or flowers is a great gift idea when we want to remind our loved ones of our friendship.
Speaker D.
People often don't know what kind of gift to choose for their friends. A cheap gift may seem too modest, and an expensive gift may cause embarrassment. But I think it's not about the price at all. It's important to show that we remember our friends, and the best way to do that is to give the kind of gift that will be truly needed. Why give flowers that will wilt in a week or a DVD that you can only watch once? It is much better to give a set of tools that will always be useful in the household, or some useful book, say, a reference book or dictionary. I believe that a gift should be a thing that can last a long time and help a person in his daily life.
Speaker E.
I believe that a simple and cheap gift can perfectly demonstrate our attention to a person. For this purpose flowers, a card or some souvenir will be perfect. But it seems to me that if we make a gift with our own hands, it can really touch our friends. When we make a rag doll or a collage, we put our whole soul into it. It's not about money at all. A gift that keeps the warmth of our hands will be remembered forever. It will be cherished and kept and maybe even passed on as an heirloom. There is no better way to show our love than a thing created with our own hands.
Speaker F.
A person who wants to make a gift to a friend always faces many difficulties. First of all, the gift should be original. Secondly, it should not embarrass. Thirdly, it is desirable that it should be useful. To fulfill all the conditions is extremely difficult. It would be ideal to give a gift made with your own hands, but not everyone is capable of this. Then why not give money? I'm not talking about money bills, it can be a gift certificate in some store. Then our friends will be able to buy themselves what they need. It is much better when they decide themselves what to have as a gift.
